The Houston Roughnecks released defensive back Keenan Isaac on Thursday according to the UFL Transactions page as he signed with the Cleveland Browns.
Kennan Isaac is six foot two and weighs 190 pounds. The 25-year-old from Midfield, Alabama, signed with the Houston Roughnecks on March 4, 2025. In 2025, he made 26 tackles (18 solos, 8 assists), two interceptions, and nine pass breakups in eight games.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed Isaac as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, he made 11 tackles (7 solos, 4 assists) and three pass breakups in three preseason games. He appeared in two regular-season games for the Buccaneers in 2023.
In 2024, he made three tackles (3 solos), one interception, and one pass breakup in three preseason games. The Buccaneers released him on August 27, 2024. The Carolina Panthers acquired him via waivers on August 28, 2024. They released him on September 7, 2024, and he re-signed with the Buccaneers on September 10, 2024.
Isaac was released again by Tampa Bay on November 12, 2024, and signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on November 20, 2024. He became a free agent after the 2024 season.
Collegiately, Isaac played five seasons at Alabama State (2018-22) making 166 tackles (119 solos, 47 assists), 13 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, three interceptions for 18 yards, 32 pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one kick return for 37 yards, and one touchdown in 45 games for the Hornets.
