The NTT IndyCar Series held qualifying on Saturday afternoon to set the field for Sunday’s Java House Grand Prix of Monterey from Monterey, California.
Alex Palou won his fifth pole of the season with a lap time of 1:08.3413 seconds at 117.891 mph. Palou has now won seven poles in his career. Pato O’Ward qualified second with a lap time of 1:08.6280 seconds at 117.398 mph.
The Java House Grand Prix of Monterey gets underway on Sunday at 3 pm on Fox.
