The NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series visited Lucas Oil Raceway Indianapolis Raceway Park on Friday night in the TSport 200. Corey Heim started the race on the pole, with Ty Majeski starting second.
Corey Heim led the opening 20 laps. On lap 21, Layne Riggs, who started in 11th place, passed Heim for the lead on the outside exiting off Turn 2. Riggs led 41 laps to win the first stage.
In the second stage, the first and only caution on the track happened on lap 100 when Alan Waller hit the wall at Turn 3. While Riggs was leading the race, Stewart Friesen was making his way to the front. He made it to second place, and Riggs won the second stage.
Most of the drivers made a pit stop during the caution. Stewart Friesen and Grant Enfinger were on the front row to start the final stage on lap 130. Riggs restarted in fourth place. On lap 143, Riggs passed Ben Rhodes for second place. Stewart Friesen led 20 laps before Riggs passed him for the lead on lap 146.
Late in the race, Corey Day passed Friesen for second. Layne Riggs led the final 55 laps to win his second race of the season, and first at Lucas Oil Indianapolis Raceway Park. He led 160 of 200 laps to beat Day by 1.864 seconds.
Corey Heim, Grant Enfinger, and Ty Majeski rounded out the top five. Chandler Smith, Daniel Hemric, Tyler Ankrum, Ross Chastain, and Rajah Caruth rounded out the top ten. There were three cautions for 24 yards and three lead changes among three drivers. Stewart Friesen was disqualified for failing front-end height requirements (too low).
The Craftsman Truck Series heads to Watkins Glen International on Friday, August 8, 2025, at 5 pm on FS1.
