Montreal Alouettes sign WR Lincoln Victor, two others

The Montreal Alouettes signed wide receiver Lincoln Victor, linebacker Riley MacLeod, and punter Sam Clark to the practice squad on Sunday.

Lincoln Victor is five foot nine and weighs 177 pounds. The 24-year-old from Maui, Hawaii, signed with the Ottawa Redblacks on January 14, 2025. In 2025, he made five catches for 29 yards, three kick returns for 59 yards, and five punt returns for 96 yards in two preseason games. The Redblacks released him on May 31, 2025.

The Denver Broncos signed Victory as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024, but he was released on May 13, 2024. The Ottawa Redblacks signed Victor on September 18, 2024, and spent over a month on the practice squad. The Redblacks released him on November 3, 2024.

Collegiately, Victor played two seasons at Hawaii (2019-20) making 12 catches for 103 yards, three touchdowns, two carries for 49 yards, and 23 kick returns for 511 yards in 17 games for the Rainbow Warriors.

Then, Victor transferred to Washington State (2021-23) making 137 catches for 1,401 yards, seven touchdowns, eight carries for 12 yards, one touchdown, completed 1 of 4 passes (25%) for 39 yards, 27 kick returns for 542 yards, 11 tackles (8 solo, 3 assists), one tackle for loss, and one forced fumble in 37 games for the Cougars.

Riley MacLeod is six foot and weighs 228 pounds. The 22-year-old from Hamilton, Ontario, was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the eighth round (70th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft. In 2025, MacLeod made three tackles on special teams in two preseason games. The Alouettes released him on May 31, 2025.

Collegiately, MacLeod played four seasons at Western University (2021-24) making 236 tackles (108 solos, 128 assists), 11 tackles for loss, six sacks, one interception, five pass breakups, two forced fumbles, one fumble recovery, and one kick return for 17 yards in 43 games for the Mustangs.

Sam Clark is six foot four and weighs 202 pounds. The 28-year-old from Lilyfield, Australia, attended the 2024 CFL Kicking Combine in San Diego in January and was drafted by the Montreal Alouettes in the first round (9th pick) of the 2024 CFL Global Draft.

Clark played two preseason games punting the ball six times for 221 yards (36.8 AVG) with a long of 49 yards. He spent the 2024 regular season on the practice squad. The Alouettes released him on November 10, 2024. Montreal re-signed Clark on December 5, 2024. He attended training camp and was released on May 14, 2025.

Collegiately, Clark played three seasons at Sacramento State (2019-21) punting the ball 97 times for 4,062 yards (41.9 AVG) with a long of 73 yards, two touchbacks, 37 fair catches, 32 from inside the 20-yard line, 12 from 50-plus yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 25 games for the Hornets. He was named Third Team All-Big Sky in 2021.

Then, Clark transferred to James Madison in 2022 punting the ball 50 times for 2,161 yards (43.2 AVG) with a long of 65 yards, four touchbacks, 18 fair catches, 16 from inside the 20-yard line, and nine from 50-plus yards in 11 games for the Dukes.
