The NASCAR Xfinity Series visited Dover Motor Speedway on Saturday afternoon for the BetRivers 200. Taylor Gray started the race on the pole with Nick Sanchez starting second.
Taylor Gray led the opening 47 laps to win the first stage. Aric Almirola finished second, Brandon Jones was third, and Connor Zilisch was fourth. After pit stops, Brandon Jones was the new leader with Connor Zilisch in second place as the second stage started on lap 55.
Zilisch cleared Jones at Turn 2 for the lead. Connor led 43 laps to win the second stage over Aric Almirola. Brandon Jones was third, and Justin Allgaier was fourth. Dark clouds started to enter the facility. Kyle Sieg was the new leader with Connor Zilisch second as the final stage started on lap 100. Zilisch cleared Sieg for the lead and Sieg fell to sixth place.
Rain began to fall on lap 132, which brought out the caution. The race later went to a red flag. The rain did not let up, and Connor Zilisch was declared the winner. Zilisch led 77 of 134 laps. It was his fourth win of the season. Aric Almirola, Brandon Jones, Justin Allgaier, and Jesse Love rounded out the top five.
Ryan Sieg, Taylor Gray, Sheldon Creed, William Sawalich, and Christian Eckes rounded out the top ten. The Xfinity Series heads to Indianapolis Motor Speedway next Saturday at 4:30 pm on The CW.
