The Montreal Alouettes released defensive back Tiawan Mullen on Tuesday.

Tiawan Mullen is five foot ten and weighs 180 pounds. The 25-year-old from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, signed with the Montreal Alouettes on December 30, 2024. In 2025, he made seven tackles and one sack in two preseason games. In the regular season, Mullen made eight tackles and one sack in five games.

The Los Angeles Chargers signed Mullen as an undrafted free agent on April 29, 2023. In 2023, Mullen made 12 tackles (9 solos, 3 assists) and two pass breakups in three preseason games.

The Chargers released him on August 29, 2023. The Philadelphia Eagles signed Mullen on August 31, 2023. He spent the majority of the 2023 season on the practice squad. The Eagles released him on August 29, 2024.

Collegiately, Mullen played four seasons at Indiana (2019-22) making 144 tackles (106 solos, 38 assists), nine tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, five interceptions, 33 pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 40 games for the Hoosiers. He was named First Team All-American by Phil Steele and First Team All-Big Ten in 2020.
