The Repco Supercars Championship concluded the weekend at Reid Park in Townsville, Queensland, on Sunday for Race 22 of the NTI Townsville 500. Broc Feeney started the race on the pole, and Matthew Payne started second.

Feeney and Payne had a drag race after the lights went out. The two raced their race heading into Turn 1, where Feeney beat Payne. Meanwhile, Anton De Pasquale passed Payne for second place a short time later at Turn 3. Anton took a shot at Feeney on lap nine, but was unable to pass him.

On lap 12, Matthew Payne passed De Pasquale for second place. Pasquale would later lose positions to Cam Waters and Brodie Kostecki to fifth place. By lap 22, Pasquale was over seven seconds behind when he went to pit road.

Once the pit stop cycles were complete, Cam Waters was the new leader. Broc Feeney quickly closed in on him and passed him on lap 37 for the lead through Turn 11. Two laps later, Will Brown got by Waters for second place.

On lap 42, the second round of pit stops was underway with Matthew Payne. Six laps later, Feeney went to pit road and came out six seconds ahead of Waters. Will Brown went to pit road on lap 50, and the Triple Eight Racing teammates were in first and second place.

Late in the race, Will Brown challenged Feeney for the lead. Brown was losing ground, and Feeney went on to win his tenth race of the season by 3.019 seconds over Brown. Feeney became the ninth driver in history to win 10 or more races. The other drivers to do this were Shane van Gisbergen, Scott McLaughlin, Craig Lowndes, Jamie Whincup, Mark Skaife, Garth Tander, Marcos Ambrose, and Glenn Seton.

Chaz Mostert, Cam Waters, and Matthew Payne rounded out the top five. Anton De Pasquale, Ryan Wood, Thomas Randle, Bryce Fullwood, and Kai Allen rounded out the top ten.

The Repco Supercars Championship returns to Queensland Raceway on August 8-10 for the Century Batteries Ipswich Super 440.
