The B.C. Lions re-signed linebacker Jacob Bond to the practice squad on Saturday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Jacob Bond is six foot three and weighs 236 pounds. The 22-year-old from Kelowna, British Columbia, signed with the B.C. Lions on May 5, 2025, as territorial exemptions. He played one preseason game mainly on special teams recording no stats. The Lions released him on May 29, 2025.

Bond plays for the Okanagan Sun (CJFL) (2021-24) making 43 tackles (33 solos, 10 assists), six tackles on special teams, one sack, one forced fumble, two fumble recoveries, one carry for two yards, and one touchdown in nine games. He was named BCFC Defensive Player of the Year in 2024.
