The B.C. Lions released wide receiver Ezechiel Tieide and fullback Dylan St. Pierre from the practice squad on Thursday according to the B.C. Lions Transactions page.

Dylan St. Pierre is six foot two and weighs 227 pounds. The 27-year-old from Ottawa, Ontario, re-signed with the B.C. Lions on June 24, 2025, and spent a week on the practice squad.

St. Pierre attended the Las Vegas Raiders rookie minicamp in 2023. Then, he signed with the B.C. Lions February 6, 2023, and spent the season on the practice squad.

The Lions released him on May 24, 2024, and later re-signed him on September 30, 2024. He was released again on November 1, 2024. He attended training camp and was released on May 16, 2025.

Collegiately, St. Pierre played five seasons at the University of Ottawa (2017-22). He started as a tight end before converting to fullback. He made 45 catches for 444 yards, five touchdowns, four carries for 20 yards, and 15 tackles (10 solos, 5 assists) in 33 games for the Gee-Gees. He participated in the CFL National Combine and the FBS All-Americans Tropical Bowl in Orlando, Florida, in 2021.

St. Pierre’s breakout season came in 2018 making 16 catches for 208 yards, four touchdowns, one carry for ten yards, and nine tackles (7 solos, 2 assists) in eight games. In 2019, St. Pierre made 23 catches for 212 yards, one touchdown, three carries for ten yards, and three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) in eight games.

Ezechiel Tieide is six foot two and weighs 202 pounds. The 25-year-old from Lachine, Quebec, made three catches for 71 yards in two preseason games. In 2025, he appeared in four games, targeted one time against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in Week 2.

The B.C. Lions drafted by the B.C. Lions in the second round (19th pick) in the 2024 CFL Draft. In 2024, he made one tackle in two preseason games. Tieide would appear in eight games.

Tieide started his collegiate career at Boston College (2020-21) as a defensive back making two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in 12 games for the Eagles. In his final season, he converted into a wide receiver. Then, he transferred to Toledo in 2022 making two catches for six yards in seven games for the Rockets.

Then, he transferred to Concordia University in 2023 making 28 catches for 471 yards, six touchdowns, completing one pass for 18 yards, four kick returns for 55 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 8 games for the Stingers.
