The Calgary Stampeders signed linebacker Kyle Wilson on Thursday.

Kyle Wilson is six foot and weighs 229 pounds. The 29-year-old from Wichita, Kansas, made three tackles in one preseason game. In the 2025 season, he made 11 tackles in two games. The Ticats released him on June 25, 2025.

The Philadelphia Eagles signed Wilson as an undrafted free agent on May 24, 2018. In 2018, he made five tackles (5 solos) in four preseason games. The Eagles released him on October 16, 2018. Next, he signed with the Los Angeles Chargers on November 7, 2018. Wilson made two tackles (2 solos) in three games. In the playoffs, Wilson made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist).

In 2019, Wilson made 10 tackles (7 solos, 3 assists) in three preseason games. The Chargers released him on August 31, 2019. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed Wilson on May 6, 2020, but the season was canceled due to COVID-19. Wilson re-signed with the Ticats on December 21, 2020.

Wilson played five seasons in Hamilton making 156 tackles, 10 tackles on special teams, two sacks, one interception, and three forced fumbles in 51 games. He helped Hamilton appear in the 108th Grey Cup in 2021 against the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. In 2024, he led the team making 88 tackles, two sacks, one interception, and one forced fumble in 18 games.

Collegiately, Wilson played two seasons at Hutchinson Community College (2014-15) making 172 tackles (64 solos, 108 assists), 22 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, two pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 23 games for the Blue Dragons.

Then, Wilson transferred to Arkansas State (2016-17) making 172 tackles (80 solos, 92 assists), 24 tackles for loss, four sacks, one interception, one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in 25 games for the Red Wolves.
