
The Ottawa Redblacks signed offensive lineman Parker Moorer to the practice squad and released offensive lineman Eric Miller from the practice squad on Wednesday.
Parker Moorer is six foot five and weighs 314 pounds. The 23-year-old from Charlotte, North Carolina, attended the New York Giants rookie minicamp in 2025.
Collegiately, Moorer played three seasons at West Virginia (2019-21) playing 21 games, of which five were starts for the Mountaineers. In 2021, West Virginia averaged 25.23 points per game, 121.5 rushing yards per game, 247.92 passing yards per game, 369.5 total yards per game, 39 touchdowns, and allowed 38 sacks finishing 6-7 for the season.
Then, he transferred to East Carolina University (2022-24) playing left tackle in 37 games, of which 26 were starts for the Pirates. In 2024, ECU averaged 32 points per game, 172.4 rushing yards per game, 264 passing yards per game, 436.4 total yards per game, 53 touchdowns, and allowed 21 sacks finishing 8-5 for the season beating N.C. State in the Military Bowl. Moorer was named Third Team All-AAC by Phil Steele and a College Football Network Honorable Mention.
Eric Miller is six foot eight and weighs 311 pounds. The 24-year-old from Mason, Ohio, signed with the Ottawa Redblacks on May 21, 2025. In 2025, Miller played two preseason games, including starting at left tackle against the Montreal Alouettes. He spent three weeks on the practice squad.
The Cincinnati Bengals signed Miller as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. He was released by the Bengals on August 23, 2024. The Edmonton Elks signed Miller on September 14, 2024, and spent a month on the practice squad.

Collegiately, Miller played four seasons at Purdue University (2019-22) playing left tackle and right tackle in 56 games for the Boilermakers. In 2022, he helped Purdue’s offense lead the Big Ten in passing with 276 yards per game, and helped running back Devin Mockobee break the Purdue freshman rushing record with 968 yards on the ground.
Then, Miller transferred to Louisville in 2023 starting 14 games for the Cardinals allowing two sacks, and 24 quarterback hurries over 920 blocking snaps. He was named an All-ACC Honorable Mention after the season.
