The Lehigh Valley IronPigs (47-28) began the second half of the 2025 season on Tuesday against the Buffalo Bisons (30-44) from Sahlen Field. Nabil Crismatt (4-5, 3.89 ERA) was on the mound for Lehigh Valley against Adam Kloffenstein (1-2, 5.13 ERA) of Buffalo.
At the top of the first inning, Lehigh Valley first baseman Weston Wilson hit Kloffenstein’s cutter for a solo home run at 390 feet to center field for a 1-0 lead. It was Wilson’s second home run of the season.
In the bottom of the fifth inning, Buffalo catcher Ali Sanchez hit Crismatt’s curveball for a solo home run at 405 feet to center field, tying the game 1-1. It was his sixth home run of the season.
The game remained tied and headed to extra innings. At the top of the tenth inning, Lehigh Valley had the bases loaded when right fielder Gabriel Rincones Jr. brought home Justin Crawford with a sacrifice fly to center field for a 2-1 lead.
Lehigh Valley busted the game open when designated hitter Oscar Mercado hit a two-run RBI single to left field scoring Weston Wilson and Garrett Stubbs for a 4-1 lead. Lehigh Valley relief pitcher Guillo Zuñiga pitched at the bottom of the tenth inning. He struck out two and got a groundout from Will Wagner to end the game.
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs ended a five-game losing streak defeating the Buffalo Bisons by the final score of 4-1. Lehigh Valley starter Nabil Crismatt pitched five innings, allowing six hits, one run, one walk, and four strikeouts throwing 79 pitches, of which 50 were strikes. The win went to Guillo Zuñiga. He pitched two innings, allowing one hit and two strikeouts throwing 20 pitches, of which 15 were strikes for his second win of the season. The loss went to Buffalo relief pitcher Tommy Nance.
