The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship concluded its weekend at Watkins Glen International for Sunday’s Sahlen’s Six Hours of The Glen.

The pole winners of this race were the No. 93 Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb Agajanian of Kaku Ohta, Renger van der Zande, and Nick Yelloly in GTP. The No. 99 AO Racing Oreca of Jonny Edgar, P.J. Hyett, and Dane Cameron in LMP2.

The No. 9 Pfaff Motorsports Lamborghini Huracan GT3 of Sandy Mitchell and Andrea Caldarelli of GTD Pro, and the No. 27 Heart of Racing Team Aston Martin Vantage GT3 of Zacharie Robichon, Tom Gamble, and Casper Stevenson of GTD.

The race saw six cautions for 58 laps, including a crash by the No. 7 Porsche Penske Motorsport of Felipe Nasr and Nick Tandy when Tandy lost control of the car and crashed hard at the exit of Turn 1. There was plenty of drama late in the race as the No. 12 Vasser Sullivan Racing Lexus RC F GT3 of Jack Hawksworth had a fuel issue and stalled, allowing the No. 27 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 Evo driven by Casper Stevenson, Tom Gamble, and Casper Stevenson to win in GTD.

The No. 60 Acura Meyer Shank Racing w/Curb-Agajanian Acura ARX-06 of Tom Blomqvist and Colin Braun’s car had one percent of fuel left and made it to win their second race of the season in GTP after Earl Bamber in his No. 31 Cadillac Whelen Cadillac V-Series.R was short on fuel and went to pit road.

Wayne Taylor Racing finished second and third in GTP with the No. 40 Cadillac V-Series.R of Jordan Taylor and Louis Deletraz finishing second, and the No. 10 Cadillac V-Series.R of Ricky Taylor and Filipe Albuquerque finished third.

The No. 22 United Autosports USA Oreca of Paul Di Resta, Daniel Goldburg, and Rasmus Lindh won in LMP2, and the No. 48 Paul Miller Racing BMW M4 GT3 Evo of Dan Harper and Max Hesse took home the win in GTD Pro.

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship heads to the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park on July 13, 2025, with only the LMP2, GTD, and GTD Pro classes competing. The GTP cars return in August at Road America on August 3, 2025.
