
The Montreal Alouettes released defensive back Vincent Delisle from the practice squad on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Vincent Delisle is six foot two and weighs 190 pounds. The 24-year-old from Quebec, Quebec, made one tackle on special teams and one fumble recovery in two preseason games to earn a spot on the practice squad.
The Montreal Alouettes drafted Delisle in the eighth round (74th pick) in the 2024 CFL Draft. Delisle appeared in two preseason games making 5 tackles and one tackle on special teams. He was placed on the suspended list as he was returning to Laval. Montreal signed Delisle on November 26, 2024.
Collegiately, Delisle played four seasons at the University of Laval (2021-24) making 46 tackles (31 solos, 15 assists), one interception, and three pass breakups in 28 games for the Rouge Et Or. He helped Laval win the 2022 Vanier Cup.
In 2023, Delisle made 10 tackles (7 solos, 3 assists) in seven games. In 2024, he made 19 tackles (12 solos, 7 assists), and one pass breakup in six games helping the Rouge Et Or win the Coupe Mitchell Bowl and the Vanier Cup.
