The Repco Supercars Championship visited the CARCO.com.au Raceway on Saturday for Race 14 of the Bosch Power Tools Perth Super 440. Chaz Mostert started the race on the pole with Ryan Wood starting second.
Chaz Mostert led the opening ten laps before Wood went to the inside of Turn 7 to pass Mostert for the lead. Mostert stayed behind Wood while Broc Feeney caught the two drivers. Wood made a pit stop handing the lead to Mostert.
Mostert stayed out until lap 27 to pit and Wood regained the lead with Broc Feeney, Will Brown, and Brodie Kostecki chasing him. Mostert left pit road in the fifth position.
With 13 laps to go, Will Brown passed Feeney for second place and began to chase down Ryan Wood. With six laps to go, the lead was down to under a second. Wood had the fastest lap on lap 47, and that was enough to hold off Will Brown to win the race by 0.6 seconds. Wood becomes the seventh driver to win a race in 2025.
The rest of the top five finishers were Chaz Mostert third, Broc Feeney fourth, and Brodie Kostecki. Rounding out the top ten were Matthew Payne, Cam Waters, Bryce Fullwood, Cameron Hill, and Thomas Randle.
