
The Michigan Panthers signed linebacker Andrew Parker Jr. and defensive back Dee Delaney on Tuesday according to the X account Panthers Shadow.
Andrew Parker Jr. is six foot two and weighs 235 pounds. The 24-year-old from New Orleans, Louisiana, signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he made four tackles (3 solos, 1 assist) in two preseason games. The Jaguars released him on August 25, 2024. The New England Patriots signed Parker Jr. on December 2, 2024. They re-signed him on January 6, 2025, and released him on March 21, 2025.
Collegiately, Parker Jr. played three seasons at Arkansas (2019-21) making 24 tackles (9 solos, 15 assists), one tackle for loss, and one sack in 29 games for the Razorbacks. Then, he transferred to Appalachian State (2022-23) making 182 tackles (80 solos, 102 assists), 10 tackles for loss, three sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 26 games for the Mountaineers. He was named First Team All-Sun Belt in 2023.
Dee Delaney is five foot eleven and weighs 211 pounds. The 30-year-old from Beaufort, South Carolina, signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent on April 30, 2018. He also spent time with the Miami Dolphins, New York Jets, Washington Redskins, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Buffalo Bills, and the Dallas Cowboys.
Delaney played five seasons in the NFL making 71 tackles (55 solos, 16 assists), three tackles for loss, three interceptions for 30 yards, seven pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 52 games.
Collegiately, Delaney played two seasons at The Citadel (2015-16) making 79 tackles (53 solos, 26 assists), one tackle for loss, 11 interceptions for 211 yards, one touchdown, 27 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one blocked kick, one punt return for four yards, and two kick returns for 78 yards in 24 games for the Bulldogs. He was named a two-time First Team All-SoCon, First Team FCS All-American, and Second FCS All-American.
Then, he transferred to Miami (FL) in 2017 making 39 tackles (24 solos, 15 assists), two tackles for loss, one interception for four yards, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery in nine games for the Hurricanes.
