
The Saskatchewan Roughriders released punter Bailey Flint on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Bailey Flint is six foot four and weighs 210 pounds. The 28-year-old from Melbourne, Australia, signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on April 7, 2025. In 2025, he punted the ball five times for 203 yards (40.6 AVG), with a long of 51 yards in one preseason game.
Flint attended the Pittsburgh Steelers rookie minicamp in 2022. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats drafted Flint in the first round (2nd pick) of the 2022 CFL Global Draft. In 2023, he punted the ball 52 times for 2,345 yards (45.1 AVG), with a long of 78 yards, one tackle, and one tackle on special teams in eight games.
In 2024, Flint punted the ball three times for 132 yards (44 AVG), with a long of 48 yards in one preseason game. The Ticats released him on June 1, 2024.
Collegiately, Flint played five seasons at Toledo (2017-21) punting the ball 209 times for 8,426 yards (40.3 AVG), with a long of 72 yards, 16 touchbacks, 74 fair catches, 82 from inside the 20-yard line, 33 from 50-plus yards, and one blocked punt in 49 games for the Rockets.
In 2021, Flint punted the ball 64 times for 2,578 yards (40.3 AVG), with a long of 68 yards, five touchbacks, 20 fair catches, 23 from inside the 20-yard line, 13 from 50-plus yards, and one punt blocked in 49 games for the Rockets. He was nominated for the Ray Guy Award as the nation’s top punter.
