
The Montreal Alouettes released wide receiver Jordan Veasy on Monday.
Jordan Veasy is six foot three and weighs 221 pounds. The 29-year-old from Gadsden, Alabama, signed with the Montreal Alouettes on May 5, 2025. In 2025, he made five catches for 79 yards, and one touchdown in two preseason games.
The Tennessee Titans signed Veasy as an undrafted free agent on May 11, 2018. He also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Indianapolis Colts, Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins, Houston Texans, and the Las Vegas Raiders. He played two regular season games in 2021 for the Houston Texans with one fumble recovery.
The Seattle Sea Dragons (XFL) drafted Veasy in the eighth round (58th pick) of the 2023 XFL Supplemental Draft. In 2023, Veasy made 21 catches for 275 yards, and three touchdowns in 10 games. The Sea Dragons traded Veasy to the San Antonio Brahmas on August 9, 2023, for defensive back Jack Koerner. He re-signed with the San Antonio Brahmas on January 30, 2024. He attended training camp and was released on March 22, 2024.
Collegiately, Veasy played one season at Faulkner University in 2013 making five catches for 75 yards, three touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in six games for the Eagles. Next, he transferred to Itawamba Community College in 2014 but did not play football.
Then, he transferred to Golden West College in 2015 making 63 catches for 1,036 yards, 11 touchdowns, one carry for 11 yards, 20 kick returns for 473 yards, and two punt returns for 32 yards in 11 games for the Rustlers.
Veasy concluded his collegiate career at California (2016-17) making 63 catches for 797 yards, nine touchdowns, one kick return for 25 yards, and one tackle (1 assist) in 24 games for the Golden Bears.
