The Winnipeg Blue Bombers released wide receiver David Wallis and added wide receiver Kody Case to the active roster on Saturday according to the CFL Transactions page.

David Wallis is six foot and weighs 184 pounds. The 23-year-old from Cedar Point, North Carolina, signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on February 14, 2025. In 2025, Wallis made one catch for five yards, three kick returns for 57 yards, and one punt return for seven yards in two preseason games.

The New England Patriots signed Wallis as an undrafted free agent on June 3, 2024. In 2024, Wallis made two catches for 16 yards, seven kick returns for 202 yards, and four punt returns for 47 yards in three preseason games. The Patriots released him on August 27, 2024.

Collegiately, Wallis played five seasons at Randolph–Macon College (2019-23) making 146 catches for 3,144 yards, 34 touchdowns, 18 carries for 127 yards, and 22 kick returns for 444 yards in 42 games for the Jackets.

He was named a two-time First Team All-ODAC, Second Team All-Region, First Team All-Region, First Team All-State by VaSID, and a two-time Offensive End of the Year by Touchdown Club of Richmond.
