
The NASCAR Xfinity Series visited Nashville Superspeedway on Saturday night in the Tennessee Lottery 250. William Sawalich started the race on the pole with Austin Hill starting second.
Sawalich led the opening 37 laps until Kyle Sieg and Parker Retzlaff got together at Turn 4. Sawalich and several other drivers went to pit road while other drivers like Daniel Dye stayed out. Dye and Brandon Jones were on the front row to lead the field to the restart on lap 42. Justin Allgaier stormed to the front to pass Jeremy Clements for the lead and went on to win the first stage under caution when Corey Day spun at Turn 2.
Allgaier and Austin Hill were on the front row leading the field to start the second stage on lap 54. On lap 61, Blaine Perkins spins down the frontstretch after contact with Thomas Annunziata. The caution did not affect Allgaier, who dominated leading 50 laps to win the second stage.
All the drivers went to pit road with Sheldon Creed emerging with the lead and Justin Allgaier second. They led the field to the restart to start the final stage. However, Christian Eckes made contact with the rear of Harrison Burton, triggering a multi-car crash involving Brandon Jones, Ryan Ellis, Corey Day, Josh Williams, Kyle Sieg, Thomas Annunziata, Anthony Alfredo, and Kris Wright. The race restarted on lap 110.
During the restart, Connor Zilisch passed Justin Allgaier and later Sheldon Creed to take the lead on lap 120. He continued to lead until the caution came out on lap 135 when William Sawalich spun at Turn 2 battling Sammy Smith for 11th place. Everyone went to pit road with Justin Allgaier beating everyone for the lead and Brandon Jones was second.
Allgaier led the field to the restart on lap 141. Connor Zilisch passed Brandon Jones for second and began chasing Allgaier for the lead. Allgaier led the final 48 laps to win his third race of the season by 1.289 seconds over Connor Zilisch. Allgaier dominated the race leading 101 of 188 laps. The rest of the top five finishers were Sam Mayer third, Sheldon Creed fourth, and Ross Chastain fifth.
