Montreal Alouette sign kicker Philippe Boyer and released WR Omarion Dollison

The Montreal Alouettes signed kicker Philippe Boyer and released wide receiver Omarion Dollison on Wednesday.

Philippe Boyer is six foot two and weighs 201 pounds. The 25-year-old from Laval, Quebec, went undrafted in the 2025 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Boyer played three seasons at the University of Montreal (2022-24) making 46 of 63 field goals (73%), with a long of 46 yards, 73 extra points, punting the ball 107 times for 5,968 (55.8 AVG), two touchbacks, 39 from inside the 20-yard line, 30 from 50-plus yards, 101 kickoffs for 5,780 yards (57.2 AVG), two touchbacks, two carries for 29 yards, and six tackles (4 solos, 2 assists) in 24 games for the Carabins.

In 2024, he made 20 of 22 field goals (90.9%), with a long of 43 yards, 27 extra points, punting the ball 37 times for 1,548 yards (41.8 AVG), with a long of 64 yards, one touchback, 10 from inside the 20-yard line, seven from 50-plus yards, 36 kickoffs for 2,161 yards (60 AVG), two touchbacks, and one carry for 31 yards in eight games.

Boyer was named a two-time RSEQ Special Units All-Star, RSEQ Special Teams Player of the Year, and U Sports Second Team Special Teams All-Star.

Omarion Dollison is five foot ten and weighs 181 pounds. The 23-year-old from Columbia, South Carolina, signed with the Montreal Alouettes on May 13, 2025. In 2025, he had one kick return for 23 yards, and two punt returns for 14 yards in one preseason game against the Ottawa Redblacks last week.

Collegiately, Dollison played three seasons at the University of South Florida (2020-22) making 55 catches for 639 yards, one touchdown, five carries for 22 yards, three kick returns for 48 yards, one punt block return for a touchdown, and four tackles (3 solos, 1 assist) in 31 games for the Bulls.

Then he transferred to James Madison University (2023-24) making 38 catches for 687 yards, seven touchdowns, two carries for 29 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 24 games for the Dukes.

In 2024, he made 37 catches for 633 yards, six touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 13 games helping JMU win the 2024 Boca Raton Bowl over Western Kentucky. He was named an All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention in 2024.
