
The Edmonton Elks signed kicker Brayden Narveson and released kicker Campbell Fair on Wednesday.
Brayden Narveson is six foot and weighs 215 pounds. The 25-year-old from Scottsdale, Arizona, signed with the Tennessee Titans as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he made 6 of 7 field goals (85.7%), with a long of 59 yards, two extra points, and seven kickoffs for 446 yards (63.7 AVG), with a long of 68 yards, and three touchbacks. The Titans released him on August 27, 2024.
The Green Bay Packers acquired Narveson via waivers on August 28, 2024. He made 3 of 4 field goals (70.6%), with a long of 47 yards, 16 extra points, 33 kickoffs for 2,118 yards (64.2 AVG), and 17 touchbacks in six games.
The Packers released him on October 16, 2024, and he re-signed with the Titans on December 10, 2024. Narveson made two extra points, five kickoffs for 325 yards (65 AVG), and one touchback in one game. The Titans released him on December 23, 2024.
Collegiately, Narveson played two seasons at Iowa State (2018-19) making 2 of 4 field goals (50%) with a long of 48 yards, and four kickoffs for 245 yards (61.3 AVG) in six games for the Cyclones.
Next, he transferred to Western Kentucky (2020-22) making 51 of 54 field goals (79.7 %), 158 extra points, one kickoff for 65 yards, and one touchback in 39 games for the Hilltoppers. He was named a two-time Second Team All-Conference USA (2020-21).
Then, he transferred to N.C. State in 2023 making 18 of 23 field goals (78.3%), with a long of 57 yards, and 38 extra points in 13 games for the Wolfpack. His 57-yard field goal was the longest in school history.
Campbell Fair is six foot one and weighs 165 pounds. The 25-year-old from Carrying Place, Ontario, re-signed with the Edmonton Elks on December 6, 2024. In 2025, he punted the ball two times for 86 yards (43 AVG) in one preseason game against the Calgary Stampeders last week.
The Calgary Stampeders drafted Fair in the sixth round (51st pick) in the 2023 CFL Draft. He had a brief stint in Calgary before joining the Saskatchewan Roughriders practice squad upon returning to the University of Ottawa.
Fair re-signed with the Calgary Stampeders on November 20, 2023. Fair played two preseason games making 6 of 6 field goals with a long of 34 yards, converted four extra points, and 12 kickoffs for 771 yards. The Stampeders released him on June 1, 2024. The Edmonton Elks signed Fair on September 14, 2024, and spent a month on the practice squad. The Elks released him on October 13, 2024.
Campbell Fair played five seasons at the University of Ottawa (2018-23) converting 62 of 88 field goals (70%) with a long of 55 yards, making 80 of 83 extra points (266 points), 153 punts for 6,017 yards with a long of 68 yards, and 22 punts from inside the 20-yard line. He was named OUA Second Team All-Star and the Chris Evraire Award for Outstanding Special Teams Player in 2022.
