The San Antonio Brahmas released wide receiver Justin Smith on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Justin Smith is six foot two and weighs 180 pounds. The 26-year-old from Richmond, Virginia, re-signed with the San Antonio Brahmas on August 27, 2024. In 2025, he made nine catches for 159 yards in six games.

The Houston Roughnecks drafted Smith in the fifth round (40th pick) in Phase 1 of the 2023 XFL Draft. In 2023, Smith made 16 catches for 238 yards and one touchdown in 9 games.

The San Antonio Brahmas drafted Smith in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft. In 2024, Smith made 25 catches for 265 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 9 games. In the 2024 UFL Playoffs, Smith made 5 catches for 79 yards and one touchdown.

Collegiately, Smith played four seasons at Norfolk State (2017-19, 2021) making 102 catches for 1,741 yards, 15 touchdowns, 2 carries for 5 yards, 5 punt returns for 42 yards, and two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in 42 games for the Spartans. He was named First Team All-MEAC in 2021.
