The Toronto Argonauts signed linebacker Ryan Collins and released offensive lineman Jean Delance on Sunday.

Ryan Collins is six foot five and weighs 235 pounds. A native of Hamilton, Ontario, Collins went undrafted in the 2025 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Collins played four seasons at the University of Toronto (2021-24) making 100 tackles (84 solos, 34 assists), five tackles for loss, two sacks, four interceptions for 46 yards, one touchdown, six pass breakups, and one fumble recovery in 29 games for the Varsity Blues. In 2024, he made 23 tackles (19 solos, 8 assists), two tackles for loss, and two sacks in five games. He participated in the 2023 East-West Bowl. In high school, he was named a three-time MVP.

Jean Delance is six foot four and weighs 303 pounds. The 27-year-old from Mesquite, Texas, signed with the Toronto Argonauts on January 7, 2025. He played one preseason game for the Argonauts in 2025 against the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Delance on August 12, 2024. He spent a couple of weeks on the practice squad. The Roughriders released him on August 24, 2024.

Delance signed with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2022. He also spent time with the Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers. In 2024, the Arlington Renegades drafted Delance in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft. Delance had signed a letter of intent to play for the original Houston Roughnecks (XFL) in 2023.

The D.C. Defenders acquired Delance from the Arlington Renegades on January 9, 2024. He played one game for the Defenders in 2024 against the San Antonio Brahmas. He was released by the Defenders on April 3, 2024. The B.C. Lions signed Delance on April 4, 2024. He played two preseason games at right tackle. The Lions released him on June 2, 2024.

Collegiately, Delance played one season at Texas in 2016 playing two games for the Longhorns. Then, he transferred to Florida (2018-21) playing right tackle in 41 games for the Gators. In 2020, he helped the Gators lead the nation in passing yards per game (378.6), while ranking eighth nationally in yards per play (7.28), and ninth in yards per game (509.8).
