The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed tight end Bruno LaBelle and released wide receiver Dimitri Stanley on Thursday.
Bruno Labelle is six foot four and weighs 248 pounds. The 27-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, signed with the Toronto Argonauts on February 10, 2025. The Argonauts released him on May 20, 2025.
The Arizona Cardinals signed Labelle as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2021. He was unable to play in the preseason due to an injury and was released on September 14, 2021.
The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed Labelle on May 15, 2022. In 2022, he made one catch for 18 yards and one kick return for three yards in two games. A year later, he dressed in 14 games but did not see any action. In 2024, Labelle spent the season on the practice squad. The Roughriders released him on November 10, 2024.
Collegiately, Labelle played four seasons at Cincinnati (2017-20) making 20 catches for 150 yards, and two touchdowns in 46 games for the Bearcats.
Dimitri Stanley is six foot and weighs 200 pounds. The 25-year-old from Aurora, Colorado, signed with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on February 10, 2025.
The Green Bay Packers signed Stanley as an undrafted free agent on May 6, 2024. In 2024, he made three catches for 12 yards, three kick returns for 71 yards, and three punt returns for 19 yards in three preseason games. The Packers released him on August 27, 2024.
Collegiately, Stanley played four seasons at Colorado (2018-21) making 70 catches for 820 yards, four touchdowns, eight carries for 13 yards, one kick return for three yards, and 28 punt returns for 247 yards in 27 games for the Buffaloes.
Then, he transferred to Iowa State (2022-23) making 48 catches for 559 yards, one touchdown, two punt returns for 13 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 23 games for the Cyclones. In 2023, he made 15 catches for 139 yards, one punt return for four yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 12 games.
