The Montreal Alouettes signed defensive back Jashon Prophete on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Jashon Prophete is five foot eleven and weighs 187 pounds. The 23-year-old from Pompano Beach, Florida, went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Collegiately, Prophete played five seasons at Northern Illinois (2020-24) playing linebacker and defensive back. He made 112 tackles (68 solos, 44 assists), five tackles for loss, two sacks, one interception for 19 yards, 14 pass breakups, and one forced fumble in 50 games for the Huskies. In 2024, he made 37 tackles (25 solos, 12 assists), two tackles for loss, one interception for 19 yards, and four pass breakups in 12 games.
