The Birmingham Stallions re-signed defensive back Nevelle Clark, and signed defensive lineman Steve Linton, defensive back Tommi Hill, and long snapper Gage King. They also released defensive backs Faion Hicks and Rachad Wildgoose on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.

Nevelle Clarke is six foot one and weighs 187 pounds. The 28-year-old from Miami, Florida, re-signed with the Birmingham Stallions on August 26, 2024. They released him on March 20, 2025.

Clarke signed with the Minnesota Vikings as an undrafted free agent in 2020. The New Orleans Breakers signed Clarke as a free agent on April 1, 2022. He made 15 tackles (10 solos, 5 assists), two tackles for loss, one interception for 37 yards, one fumble recovery, and seven pass breakups in eight games for the New Orleans Breakers in 2022.

In 2023, Clarke made 26 tackles (21 solos, 5 assists), one tackle for loss, two interceptions for 14 yards, one forced fumble, and seven pass breakups in nine games. After the season, the Breakers released Clarke on August 14, 2023, to sign with the Pittsburgh Steelers a day later. He played one preseason game against the Atlanta Falcons but recorded no stats.

The Birmingham Stallions signed Clarke on November 2, 2023. In 2024, Clarke made 24 tackles (17 solos, 7 assists), one interception, and five pass breakups in 8 games. In the 2024 UFL playoffs, Clarke made 4 tackles (3 solos, 1 assist), one forced fumble, and two pass breakups in two games helping the Stallions with their third consecutive championship (2 USFL, 1 UFL).

Collegiately, Clarke played four seasons at UCF (2016-19) with 107 tackles (92 solos, 15 assists), seven tackles for loss, one sack, five interceptions for 48 yards, one touchdown, one fumble recovery, and 29 pass breakups in 37 games for the Knights. He was named First Team All-AAC in 2018.

Steven Linton is six foot five and weighs 237 pounds. The 25-year-old from Dublin, Georgia, went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Collegiately, Linton played four seasons at Syracuse (2019-22) making 45 tackles (26 solos, 19 assists), 8.5 tackles for loss, 4.5 sacks, one pass breakup, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries in 29 games for the Orange.

Next, he transferred to Texas Tech in 2023 making 22 tackles (13 solos, 9 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in eight games for the Red Raiders. Then, he transferred to Baylor in 2024 making 25 tackles (24 solos, 1 assist), seven tackles for loss, three sacks, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in nine games for the Bears.

Tommi Hill is six foot and weighs 195 pounds. The 23-year-old from Orlando, Florida, attended the Minnesota Vikings rookie minicamp in 2025.

Collegiately, Hill played one season at Arizona State in 2021 making nine tackles (7 solos, 2 assists), and four kick returns for 79 yards in 11 games for the Sun Devils. Then, he transferred to Nebraska (2022-24) making 64 tackles (37 solos, 27 assists), two tackles for loss, five interceptions for 24 yards, one touchdown, 14 pass breakups, one fumble recovery, one carry for -5 yards, 18 kick returns for 365 yards, and one punt return for one yard in 30 games for the Cornhuskers.

Gage King is six foot four and weighs 250 pounds. A native of El Dorado Hills, California, King went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Collegiately, King played three seasons at Arizona State (2020-22) making one tackle (1 solo) in seven games for the Sun Devils. Then, he transferred to the University of Central Florida (2023-24) making one tackle (1 solo) in 25 games for the Knights. In 2023, PFF graded him as one of the conference’s best at his position.

Faion Hicks is five foot ten and weighs 192 pounds. The 26-year-old from Pembroke Pines, Florida, signed with the Birmingham Stallions on March 15, 2025. In 2025, Hicks made three tackles (1 solo, 2 assists) in three games.

The Denver Broncos drafted Hicks in the seventh round (232nd pick) of the 2022 NFL Draft. In 2022, he made five tackles (4 solos, 1 assist) in three preseason games. He would appear in two regular season games recording no stats.

In 2023, he made nine tackles (7 solos, 2 assists) in three preseason games. The Broncos released him on August 29, 2023. The New Orleans Saints signed Hicks on September 13, 2023. He spent the season on the practice squad.

The New Orleans Saints re-signed him on January 8, 2024. They released him on June 17, 2024. Next, the Cleveland Browns signed him on August 4, 2024. In 2024, he made two tackles (2 solos) in two preseason games. The Browns released him on August 26, 2024.

Then, the Seattle Seahawks signed Hicks on August 30, 2024. He made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in two regular season games. The Seahawks released him on November 26, 2024.

Collegiately, Hicks played four seasons at Wisconsin (2018-21) making 108 tackles (85 solos, 23 assists), two tackles for loss, one interception, and 18 pass breakups in 44 games for the Badgers. He was a two-time All-Big Ten Honorable Mention (2020-21).

Rachad Wildgoose is five foot ten and weighs 191 pounds. The 24-year-old from Miami, Florida, signed with the Birmingham Stallions on September 19, 2024. In 2025, he made 12 tackles (7 solos, 5 assists), one tackle for loss, and two pass breakups in six games.

The Buffalo Bills drafted Wildgoose in the sixth round (213th pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He also spent time with the New York Jets and Washington Commanders. Wildgoose played 20 games making 19 tackles (13 solos, 6 assists) and three pass breakups.

Collegiately, Wildgoose played three seasons at Wisconsin (2018-20) making 57 tackles (44 solos, 13 assists), five tackles for loss, one interception for 11 yards, 15 pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries in 25 games for the Badgers.
