
The Arlington Renegades re-signed offensive lineman Spencer Rolland and defensive tackle Jerrod Clark, while releasing defensive end Daviyon Nixon on Tuesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Spencer Rolland is six foot six and weighs 306 pounds. The 25-year-old from Burnsville, Minnesota, was drafted by the Arlington Renegades in the eighth round (59th pick) of the 2024 UFL College Draft. He signed with the Renegades on January 14, 2025. Rolland attended training camp and was released on March 20, 2025.
The Minnesota Vikings signed Rolland as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, he played three preseason games. The Vikings released him on August 26, 2024. The Green Bay Packers signed Rolland on October 15, 2024. He spent several weeks on the practice squad before the Packers released him on December 9, 2024.
Collegiately, Rolland played two seasons at Harvard (2019, 2021) playing right tackle in 20 games for the Crimson. In 2021, Harvard’s offense averaged 32.40 points per game, 162.3 rushing yards per game, 189.70 passing yards per game, 352.0 yards per game, and 40 touchdowns finishing 8-2 for the season finishing in third place in the Ivy League. He was named First Team All-Ivy League.
Then, Rolland transferred to North Carolina (2022-23) playing right tackle in 26 games for the Tar Heels. In 2023, North Carolina’s offense averaged 34.54 points per game, 192.7 rushing yards per game, 298.54 passing yards per game, 491.2 total yards per game, and 55 touchdowns finishing 8-5 for the season. The Tar Heels lost to West Virginia in the Duke’s Mayo Bowl in 2023. Rolland was named an All-ACC Honorable Mention.
Jerrod Clark is six foot three and weighs 334 pounds. The 25-year-old from Dorchester, Massachusetts, signed with the Arlington Renegades on December 9, 2024. He attended training camp and was released on January 23, 2025, and signed with the Carolina Panthers on January 24, 2025. The Panthers released him on May 8, 2025.
The Los Angeles Chargers signed Clark as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. In 2023, he made seven tackles (2 solos, 5 assists) in three preseason games, and spent the season on the practice squad. In 2024, Clark made four tackles (4 solos) in three preseason games. The Chargers released him on August 27, 2024.
Collegiately, Clark played five seasons at Coastal Carolina (2018-22) making 105 tackles (32 solos, 73 assists), 18 tackles for loss, 7.5 sacks, three pass breakups, and one blocked kick in 38 games for the Chanticleers. He was named Third Team All-Sun Belt in 2022.
Daviyon Nixon is six foot three and weighs 305 pounds. The 26-year-old from Kenosha, Wisconsin, signed with the Arlington Renegades on February 10, 2025. In 2025, he made nine tackles (4 solos, 5 assists), one pass breakup, and one forced fumble in eight games.
The Carolina Panthers signed Nixon in the fifth round (158th pick) of the 2021 NFL Draft. He played two seasons making 15 tackles (4 solos, 11 assists), and half a sack in 14 games. The Panthers released him on December 13, 2022. He also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks and the Miami Dolphins.
Collegiately, he played one season at Iowa Western Community College in 2017 making 44 tackles (22 solos, 22 assists), 9.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, and three pass breakups in 12 games for the Reivers.
Then, he transferred to Iowa (2019-20) making 74 tackles (41 solos, 33 assists), 19 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one interception for 71 yards, one touchdown, and three pass breakups in 21 games for the Hawkeyes. He was named the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year, Big Ten Defensive Lineman of the Year, and a Unanimous All-American in 2020.
