
The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed kicker Brett Garrity on Saturday.
Brett Garrity is five foot seven and weighs 174 pounds. A native of London, Ontario, Garrity went undrafted in the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Garrity played five seasons at the University of Western Ontario (2019, 2021-24) made 98 of 121 field goals (81%), with a long of 49 yards, 205 extra points, 241 kickoffs for 13,528 yards (56.1 AVG), three touchbacks, punting the ball 28 times for 1,080 yards (38.6 AVG), with a long of 55 yards, four from inside the 20-yard line, three from 50-plus yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in 44 games for the Mustangs.
In 2024, he made 25 of 30 field goals (83.3%), with a long of 44 yards, 57 extra points, 59 kickoffs for 3,463 yards (58.7 AVG), and two touchbacks in 11 games.
Garrity earned the Western athletic-of-the-week honors after making four field goals, including two 48-yarders, helping the Mustangs beat the Windsor Lancers 21-10. He was named First Team OUA All-Star in 2024.
