
The Saskatchewan Roughriders placed wide receiver Ja’Marcus Bradley on the retired list on Thursday.
Ja’Marcus Bradley is six foot one and weighs 195 pounds. The 28-year-old from Ackerman, Mississippi, signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on December 12, 2024. He was placed on the suspended list on May 13, 2025.
The Cleveland Browns signed Bradley as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2020. Bradley spent the majority of his time on Cleveland’s practice squad but did play eight games between 2020 and 2021 making nine catches for 124 yards and two kick returns for 49 yards.
After Cleveland, Bradley signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers on November 23, 2023, and was placed on the practice squad. Then, Bradley signed with the St. Louis Battlehawks on December 14, 2023. In 2024, Bradley made five catches for 35 yards in five games. He was placed on injured reserve on May 29, 2024, and missed the rest of the season.
Collegiately, Bradley played five seasons at Louisiana-Lafayette (2015-19) making 145 catches for 2,177 yards, 20 touchdowns, three carries for 30 yards, completing 1 of 4 passes (25%) for 21 yards, 19 kick returns for 400 yards, five punt returns for 34 yards, and two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in 48 games for the Rajan’ Cajuns. He was named a two-time Second Team All-Sun Belt Conference (2018-19) and Second Team All-Louisiana Team in 2019.
