The Saskatchewan Roughriders signed offensive lineman Yoesph Carter and released defensive back Mark Webb on Tuesday. Saskatchewan also removed wide receiver Ja’Marcus Bradley from the suspended list.

Yoesph Carter is six foot four and weighs 295 pounds. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Carter transferred to the University of Findlay (2023-24) playing 16 games for the Oilers. In 2024, Findlay averaged 31.64 points per game, 136 rushing yards per game, 257.36 passing yards per game, 393.4 total yards per game, 46 touchdowns, and allowed 23 sacks finishing 9-2 for the season.

Carter was named First Team All-American by D2Football.com, Second Team All-American by Don Hansen and AFCA, First Team All-Region by D2CCA, G-MAC Co-Offensive Lineman of the Year, and First Team All-G-MAC in 2024.

In 2023, Findlay averaged 28.18 points per game, 176.6 rushing yards per game, 213.36 passing yards per game, 390 total yards per game, 38 touchdowns, and allowed 17 sacks finishing 7-4 for the season.

Collegiately, Carter played one season at Jackson State in the spring of 2021 playing five games for the Tigers. In 2021, Jackson State averaged 27.54 points per game, 89.2 rushing yards per game, 248.54 passing yards per game, 337.8 total yards per game, 50 touchdowns, and allowed 36 sacks finishing 11-2 for the season.

Then, he transferred to Western Illinois University in the fall of 2021 playing seven games for the Leathernecks. In 2021, Western Illinois averaged 24.36 points per game, 62.1 rushing yards per game, 301 passing yards per game, 363.1 total yards per game, 35 touchdowns, and allowed 49 sacks finishing 2-9 for the season.

Mark Webb is six foot one and weighs 207 pounds. The 26-year-old from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, signed with the Saskatchewan Roughriders on March 3, 2025.

The Los Angeles Chargers drafted Webb in the seventh round (241st pick) of the 2021 NFL draft. In 2021, he made three tackles (3 solos) in seven games but he suffered a season-ending knee injury. In 2023, he made two tackles (1 solo, 1 assist) in two preseason games. The Chargers released him on November 14, 2023.

Collegiately, Webb played four seasons at Georgia (2017-20) making 82 tackles (49 solos, 33 assists), three tackles for loss, one interception for 13 yards, nine pass breakups, and two forced fumbles in 49 games for the Bulldogs. He played in the 2020 Senior Bowl where he made five tackles.
