
The San Antonio Brahmas claimed running back Jaden Shirden via waivers from the Michigan Panthers on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Jaden Shirden is five foot nine and weighs 195 pounds. The 23-year-old from West Haven, Connecticut, signed with the Michigan Panthers on January 8, 2025. In 2025, Shirden had 13 carries for 72 yards, one touchdown, and three catches for 21 yards in three games.
The Carolina Panthers signed Shirden as an undrafted free agent on May 10, 2024. In 2024, Shirden had 17 carries for 47 yards and three catches for 42 yards in two preseason games. The Panthers released him on August 27, 2024.
Collegiately, Shirden played three seasons at Monmouth (2021-23) with 504 carries for 3,697 yards, 26 touchdowns, 25 catches for 158 yards, one touchdown, and one kick return for no yards in 33 games for the Hawks. He was named First Team All-CAA in 2022 and First Team FCS All-American in 2023. His 3,697 rushing yards rank third in program history.
