
The Montreal Alouettes signed wide receivers Kaseem Ferdinand and Omarion Dollison, and defensive lineman M.J. Sherman on Tuesday. Montreal also placed running back Keanu Yazbeck on the suspended list.
Kaseem Ferdinand is five foot nine and weighs 176 pounds. A native of Ottawa, Ontario, Ferdinand went undrafted in the 2025 CFL Draft.
Collegiately, Ferdinand played four seasons at Carleton (2021-24) making 147 catches for 1,836 yards (63.3 AVG/G), 18 touchdowns, 13 carries for 80 yards, three kick returns for 64 yards, 61 punt returns for 748 yards, and two tackles (2 solos) in 29 games for the Ravens. In 2024, he made 42 catches for 645 yards, six touchdowns, and 14 punt returns for 164 yards in eight games.
Omarion Dollison is five foot ten and weighs 181 pounds. A native of Columbia, South Carolina, transferred to James Madison University (2023-24) making 38 catches for 687 yards, seven touchdowns, two carries for 29 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 24 games for the Dukes.
In 2024, he made 37 catches for 633 yards, six touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 13 games helping JMU win the 2024 Boca Raton Bowl over Western Kentucky. He was named an All-Sun Belt Honorable Mention in 2024.
Collegiately, Dollison played three seasons at the University of South Florida (2020-22) making 55 catches for 639 yards, one touchdown, five carries for 22 yards, three kick returns for 48 yards, one punt block return for a touchdown, and four tackles (3 solos, 1 assist) in 31 games for the Bulls.
M.J. Sherman is six foot three and weighs 245 pounds. A native of Baltimore, Maryland, transferred to Nebraska (2023-24) making 45 tackles (22 solos, 23 assists), seven tackles for loss, and five sacks in 25 games for the Cornhuskers. In 2024, he made 29 tackles (15 solos, 14 assists), five tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks in 13 games. He was named the Tom Osborne Citizenship Team in 2024.
Collegiately, Sherman played three seasons at Georgia (2020-22) making 14 tackles (7 solos, 7 assists), two tackles for loss, and a half sack in 39 games for the Bulldogs. He won two National Championships with the Bulldogs in 2021 and 2022.
