The Edmonton Elks signed linebacker Alexander Raich on Wednesday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Alexander Raich is six foot three and weighs 225 pounds. A native of Chur, Switzerland, Raich was drafted by the Edmonton Elks in the second round (12th pick) of the 2025 CFL Global Draft.

Collegiately, Raich played one season at Golden West College in 2021 making 26 tackles (20 solos, 6 assists), 4.5 tackles for loss, one fumble recovery, one interception for nine yards, and one pass breakup in 10 games for the Rustlers.

Then, he transferred to Kansas (2022-24) making five tackles (3 solos, 2 assists) in 25 games for the Jayhawks. In 2024, Raich made five tackles (3 solos, 2 assists) in 12 games.
