The Arlington Renegades signed running back Tony Jones Jr. on Wednesday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Tony Jones Jr. is five foot eleven and weighs 224 pounds. The 27-year-old from St. Petersburg, Florida, signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent on April 29, 2020.
He also spent time with the Seattle Seahawks, Denver Broncos, and Arizona Cardinals. Jones Jr. played 97 carries for 329 yards, three touchdowns, 17 catches for 96 yards, one kick return for five yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 26 games.
Collegiately, Jones Jr. played four seasons at Notre Dame (2016-19) with 271 carries for 1,524 yards, 12 touchdowns, 27 catches for 273 yards, two touchdowns, 15 tackles (11 solos, 4 assists), and one forced fumble in 39 games for the Fighting Irish.
