Report: San Antonio Brahmas release offensive lineman Greg Eiland

The San Antonio Brahmas released offensive lineman Greg Eiland on Monday according to Pro Football Newsroom reporter James Larsen.

Greg Eiland is six foot eight and weighs 321 pounds. The 27-year-old from Philadelphia, Mississippi, re-signed with the San Antonio Brahmas on January 14, 2025. In 2025, Eiland played six games, of which three were starts. San Antonio is averaging 11.8 points per game, 4.4 rushing yards per game, 134.2 passing yards per game, and allowing 15 sacks.

The Seattle Seahawks signed Eiland as an undrafted free agent on May 14, 2021. He spent three seasons on and off the practice squad.

The San Antonio Brahmas signed Eiland on January 19, 2024. In 2024, he started four games. San Antonio’s offense ranked fourth in total yards (2,966), rushing yards (962), yards per game (296.6), third in passing yards (2,004), and tied for fifth in touchdowns (24).

Collegiately, Eiland played five seasons at Mississippi State (2016-20) playing left guard, left tackle, and right tackle in 46 games, of which 34 were starts for the Bulldogs. In 2019, Mississippi State’s offense ranked third in the SEC in rushing offense at 220.6 yards per game on the ground, and in 2020 helped protect quarterback K.J. Costello as he passed for an SEC and MSU record 623 yards and five touchdowns.
