Report: San Antonio Brahmas acquire WR Dee Anderson from Memphis

The San Antonio Brahmas acquired wide receiver Dee Anderson from the Memphis Showboats for defensive back Darius Phillips on Monday according to Pro Football Newsroom reporter James Larsen.

Dee Anderson is six foot six and weighs 225 pounds. The 27-year-old from Dallas, Texas, re-signed with the Memphis Showboats on August 27, 2024. In 2025, Anderson made 15 catches for 182 yards and one touchdown in five games.

Anderson attended the New Orleans Saints rookie minicamp in 2022. Next, Anderson signed with the Tampa Bay Bandits (USFL) making one catch and one tackle (1 solo) in one game. Then, Anderson signed with the New Orleans Breakers on March 15, 2023. In 2023, Anderson made 13 catches for 174 yards, 2 touchdowns, and one tackle (1 solo) in 7 games.

The Memphis Showboats drafted Anderson in the 2024 UFL Dispersal Draft. In 2024, Anderson made 8 catches for 142 yards and one touchdown in 6 games.

Collegiately, Anderson played three seasons at LSU (2016-18) making 27 catches for 392 yards, one touchdown, and one tackle (1 solo) in 31 games for the Tigers. Next, Anderson transferred to Oklahoma State in 2020 making one catch for 14 yards in four games for the Cowboys.
