The Calgary Stampeders signed linebacker Deshawn Pace on Tuesday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Deshawn Pace is six foot two and weighs 220 pounds. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, Pace went undrafted in the 2025 NFL Draft.
Collegiately, Pace played four seasons at Cincinnati (2020-23) making 247 tackles (121 solos, 126 assists), 25.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, six interceptions for 121 yards, one touchdown, 14 pass breakups, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, and two blocked kicks in 46 games for the Bearcats. He was named an All-AAC Honorable Mention in 2021.
Then, he transferred to the University of Central Florida in 2024 making 61 tackles (40 solos, 21 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, two interceptions for 37 yards, and three pass breakups in 12 games for the Knights.
