Hamilton Tiger-Cats sign three players from the 2025 Draft

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed offensive lineman Arvin Hosseini, defensive lineman Isaiah Bagnah, and defensive back Jake Nitychoruk on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Arvin Hosseini is six foot five and weighs 300 pounds. The 21-year-old from North Vancouver, British Columbia, was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the third round (21st pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Hosseini played four seasons at the University of British Columbia (2021-24) playing 27 games, of which 16 were starts for the Thunderbirds. In 2024, UBC averaged 27.67 points per game, 148.4 rushing yards per game, 310.78 passing yards per game, 442.4 total yards per game, 29 touchdowns, and allowed 10 sacks finishing 5-4 for the season.

He was named a Canada West All-Star in 2024 and helped UBC win the Hardy Cup and Mitchell Bowl championship in 2023.

Isaiah Bagnah is six foot three and weighs 261 pounds. The 23-year-old from Lethbridge, Alberta, was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the second round (9th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Bagnah played three seasons at Boise State (2020-22) making 58 tackles (32 solos, 26 assists), 12.5 tackles for loss, 10 sacks, and one forced fumble in 24 games for the Broncos. Then, he transferred to BYU (2023-24) making 52 tackles (24 solos, 28 assists), four tackles for loss, two sacks, three pass breakups, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery in 25 games for the Cougars.

Jake Nitychoruk is six foot four and weighs 205 pounds. The 22-year-old from Winnipeg, Manitoba, was drafted by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in the seventh round (57th pick) of the 2025 CFL Draft.

Collegiately, Nitychoruk played four seasons at the University of Manitoba (2021-24) making 54 tackles (45 solos, 9 assists), one tackle for loss, seven pass breakups, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one blocked kick, and one punt return for four yards in 27 games for the Bisons.
