
The NTT IndyCar Series held qualifying on Saturday to set the field for Sunday’s Children’s of Alabama Grand Prix at Barber Motorsports Park.
Chip Ganassi Racing driver Alex Palou won his first pole of the season with a lap time of 1:07.2918 at 123.046 mph. It is his first pole since Mid-Ohio in 2024 and the seventh pole of his career. Starting in second place is Team Penske driver Scott McLaughlin with a lap time of 1:07.4387 at 122.778 mph. Rounding out the top five are Colton Herta, Will Power, and Rinus VeeKay.
