Winnipeg Blue Bombers sign six players, release DL Lucky Ogbevoen

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed running back Quinton Cooley, wide receiver Nicholas Adair, offensive linemen Austin Euler and Alexis Levesque-Gallant, defensive lineman Camron Peterson, and linebacker Kobe Wilson and released defensive lineman Lucky Ogbevoen on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.

Quinton Cooley is five foot seven and weighs 220 pounds. A native of Bailey, North Carolina, Cooley transferred to Liberty (2023-24) with 426 carries for 2,655 yards, 29 touchdowns, seven catches for 52 yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 25 games for the Flames. He was named First Team All-CUSA and the 2023 CUSA Newcomer of the Year.

Collegiately, Cooley played two seasons at Wake Forest (2021-22) with 96 carries for 402 yards, four touchdowns, four catches for 30 yards, and three tackles (2 solos, 1 assist) in 25 games for the Demon Deacons.

Nicholas Adair is six foot three and weighs 195 pounds. A native of Kingston, Ontario, played four seasons at McMaster (2021-24) making 63 catches for 863 yards and three touchdowns in 16 games for the Marauders.

Austin Euler is six foot three and weighs 283 pounds. A native of Lithonia, Georgia, played four seasons at Clark Atlanta University (2021-24) playing 21 games for the Panthers. In 2024, Clark Atlanta averaged 31.36 points per game, 90.8 rushing yards per game, 299.27 passing yards per game, 390.1 total yards per game, 46 touchdowns, and allowed 13 sacks finishing 7-3-1 for the season.

Alexis Levesque-Gallant is six foot two and weighs 300 pounds. The 25-year-old from Montreal, Quebec, played four seasons at the University of Montreal (2021-24) playing right guard and center in 26 games for the Carabins. During his time in Montreal, they had 1,000-plus yards and 2,200-plus receiving yards. He won the Dunsmore Cup in 2021 and 2023, along with the Uteck Bowl and Vanier Cup in 2023.

Camron Peterson is six foot five and weighs 280 pounds. The 25-year-old from Houston, Texas, signed with the New Orleans Saints as an undrafted free agent on August 23, 2024. In 2024, Peterson made one tackle (1 solo) in one preseason game. He suffered an injury and missed the 2024 season. The Saints released him on March 19, 2025.

Collegiately, Peterson played three seasons at McNeese State University (2018-20) making 38 tackles (18 solos, 20 assists), 3.5 tackles for loss, one sack, one pass breakup, and two fumble recoveries in 24 games for the Cowboys.

Then, he transferred to Southern (2021-22) making 50 tackles (14 solos, 36 assists), 9.5 tackles for loss, four sacks, and one pass breakup in 19 games for the Jaguars.

Kobe Wilson is six foot and weighs 225 pounds. A native of Snellville, Georgia, transferred to SMU (2023-24) making 197 tackles (102 solos, 95 assists), nine tackles for loss, four sacks, three interceptions for 116 yards, one touchdown, six pass breakups, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 28 games for the Mustangs. He was named a two-time Second Team All-AAC and First Team All-AAC by Phil Steele.

Collegiately, Wilson played three seasons at Temple (2020-22) making 128 tackles (70 solos, 58 assists), 11.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, four pass breakups, three forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries in 29 games for the Owls.

Lucky Ogbevoen is six foot three and weighs 225 pounds. The 24-year-old from Austria was drafted by the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the second round (17th pick) in the 2024 CFL Global Draft.

In 2024, Ogbevoen dressed for one regular season game and spent the rest of the season on the practice squad. The Blue Bombers released him on November 18, 2024. They re-signed him on November 22, 2024.

Ogbevoen played three seasons in the European League of Football for the Stuttgart Surge and Tirol Raiders making 175 tackles (86 solos, 89 assists), 18.5 tackles for loss, 3.5 sacks, one interception, seven pass breakups, one blocked kick, one forced fumble, and three fumble recoveries in 24 games.

He was named an ELF All-Star in 2023 making 87 tackles (40 solos, 47 assists), 8 tackles for loss, two sacks, five pass breakups, and two fumble recoveries in 11 games.
