The Montreal Alouettes signed defensive end Treqwan Thomas on Friday.

Treqwan Thomas is six foot one and weighs 232 pounds. The 22-year-old from Orlando, Florida, made 64 tackles (32 solos, 32 assists), 16.5 tackles for loss, 12 sacks, and five forced fumbles in 12 games for the Alabama State Hornets.

Thomas was named Preseason First Team All-SWAC by Phil Steele and Preseason First Team All-SWAC. He also won Defensive MVP at the 2025 Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl after making four sacks.

Collegiately, Thomas played four seasons at Alabama State (2021-24) making 100 tackles (51 solos, 49 assists), 29 tackles for loss, 19 sacks, seven forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 31 games for the Hornets. He was named Second Team All-SWAC in 2023.
