
The Calgary Stampeders signed defensive back Dolani Robinson and long snapper Jason MacGougan on Friday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Dolani Robinson is six foot three and weighs 195 pounds. A native of Toronto, Ontario, Robinson played two seasons at the University of Regina (2023-24) making 45 tackles (34 solos, 11 assists), and nine pass breakups in 16 games for the Rams. He was named a Canada West All-Star in 2024.
Robinson played two seasons for the Westshore Rebels (2021-22) making 33 tackles (24 solos, 9 assists), one interception, three pass breakups, one fumble recovery, 13 catches for 123 yards, and 15 kick returns for 151 yards.
Jason MacGougan is six foot and weighs 239 pounds. A native of Burlington, Ontario, played four seasons at Wilfrid Laurier University (2021-24) making 11 tackles (3 solos, 8 assists) in 37 games for the Golden Hawks. MacGougan helped the kicking game complete 76.5% of field goals. He is a member of the 2024 Uteck Bowl and Yates Cup championship teams.
