
The Montreal Alouettes signed wide receiver Daniel Arias on Monday according to the CFL Transactions page.
Daniel Arias is six foot three and weighs 216 pounds. The 26-year-old from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, signed with the Arizona Cardinals as an undrafted free agent on May 12, 2023. He played three preseason games for the Cardinals making five catches for 75 yards.
He spent the 2023 season on both the Arizona Cardinals and Kansas City Chiefs practice squads. In 2024, Arias played two preseason games recording no stats for Arizona. The Cardinals released him on August 21, 2024. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed Arias on September 30, 2024. He spent a week on a practice squad. The Ticats released him on October 5, 2024.
Collegiately, Arias played five seasons at Colorado (2018-22) making 48 catches for 750 yards, four touchdowns, two carries for one yard, and nine tackles (6 solos, 3 assists) in 36 games for the Buffaloes.
