Philadelphia Eagles sign TE Harrison Bryant and LB Joshua Uche

The Philadelphia Eagles signed tight end Harrison Bryant to a one-year contract according to NFL Network report Ian Rapoport and linebacker Joshua Uche to a one-year contract on Thursday.

Harrison Bryant is six foot five and weighs 230 pounds. The 26-year-old from Macon, Georgia, signed with the Las Vegas Raiders on March 15, 2024. In 2024, he made nine catches for 86 yards (9.6 AVG), and one tackle (1 solo) in 13 games.

The Cleveland Browns drafted Bryant in the fourth round (115th pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played four seasons in Cleveland making 89 catches for 791 yards (8.9 AVG), 10 touchdowns, six carries for 16 yards, fumbled the ball three times, and made eight tackles (5 solos, 3 assists) in 65 games, of which 30 were starts.

Collegiately, Bryant played four seasons at Florida Atlantic University (2016-19) making 86 catches for 1,208 yards, 12 touchdowns, one carry for two yards, one kick return for five yards, and one tackle (1 solo) in 36 games for the Owls. He was named a two-time First Team All-CUSA (2018-19), Second Team All-CUSA in 2017, Unanimous All-American (2019), and the winner of the John Mackey Award (2019).

Joshua Uche is six foot one and weighs 240 pounds. The 26-year-old from Miami, Florida, split time with the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs in 2024. In New England, he made 13 tackles (10 solos, 3 assists), two tackles for loss, and two sacks in seven games. The Patriots traded Uche to the Chiefs on October 28, 2024. In Kansas City, he made 10 tackles (7 solos, 3 assists) in six games.

The New England Patriots drafted Uche in the second round (60th pick) of the 2020 NFL Draft. He played five seasons in New England making 76 tackles (58 solos, 18 assists), 19 tackles for loss, 20.5 sacks, two forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 58 games, of which four were starts.

Collegiately, Uche played four seasons at Michigan (2016-19) making 56 tackles (39 solos, 17 assists), 20.5 tackles for loss, 16.5 sacks, three pass breakups, four forced fumbles, and one fumble recovery in 39 games for the Wolverines. He was named Second Team All-Big Ten in 2019.
