Reilly Hennessey is six foot three and weighs 220 pounds. The 29-year-old from Camas, Washington, re-signed with the Stuttgart Surge on January 21, 2024. In 2024, he completed 218 of 312 passes (70%) for 2,888 yards, 35 touchdowns, five interceptions, 53 carries for 249 yards, 10 touchdowns, one tackle (1 solo), and one forced fumble in 12 games.
In the 2024 ELF playoffs, he completed 16 of 28 passes (57.1%) for 160 yards, two touchdowns, three interceptions, and seven carries for 24 yards against the eventual ELF champion Rhein Fire.
Before Stuttgart, Hennessey played two seasons with the Parma Panthers of the Italian Football League completing 156 of 269 passes (58%) for 2,327 yards, 26 touchdowns, 9 interceptions, 63 carries for 436 yards, and three touchdowns in 12 games.
In the 2021 postseason, Hennessey completed 33 of 51 passes (65%) for 481 yards, five touchdowns, 13 carries for 48 yards, and one touchdown. In October, he signed with the Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns to play in the championship game after their starter was injured. In the championship game, Hennessey completed 13 of 23 passes (57%) for 164 yards, two touchdowns, one interception, and six carries for 13 yards in a loss to the Dresden Monarchs.
