The Michigan Panthers signed defensive back Gemon Green on Monday according to the UFL Transactions page.
Gemon Green is six foot one and weighs 183 pounds. The 24-year-old from DeSoto, Texas, signed with the New York Giants as an undrafted free agent on May 5, 2023. He played three preseason games making 7 tackles (6 solo, 1 assist) and one pass breakup to earn a spot on the practice squad. The Giants released him on August 31, 2023.
Next, Green signed with the Green Bay Packers on April 10, 2024. He played three preseason games making 7 tackles (3 solo, 4 assists). The Packers released him on August 27, 2024.
Collegiately, Green played four seasons at Michigan (2019-22) making 71 tackles (49 solo, 22 assists), half a tackle for loss, one interception for 27 yards, and 14 pass breakups in 49 games for the Wolverines. He was an All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2022.
