The Philadelphia Eagles drafted wide receiver Johnny Wilson in the sixth round (185th pick) of the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday.

Johnny Wilson is six foot six and weighs 233 pounds. The 23-year-old from Los Angeles, California, ran a 4.52 in the 40-yard dash, 1.55 10-yard split, a vertical jump of 37”, a broad jump of 10’ 8”, and a 4.11 in the 20-yard shuffle. He was given a production score of 63, and a 64 in athleticism for a total score of 68.

In 2023, Wilson made 41 catches for 617 yards, and two touchdowns in 10 games for the Florida State Seminoles. He was named Third Team All-ACC. Wilson won the Crenshaw Award and the Bobby Bowden Leadership Award.

Wilson played two seasons at Arizona State (2020-21) making 18 catches for 243 yards, one touchdown, and one carry for no yards in eight games for the Sun Devils.

Then, he transferred to Florida State (2022-23) with 84 catches for 1,514 yards, and seven touchdowns in 23 games for the Seminoles. In 2022, Wilson made 43 catches for 897 yards, and five touchdowns on his way to being named Second Team All-ACC.
