The Philadelphia Eagles drafted running back Will Shipley in the fourth round (127th pick) of the 2024 NFL Draft on Saturday. The Eagles acquired the pick along with a 2025 5th-round pick from the Houston Texans for pick 123.

Will Shipley is five foot eleven and weighs 210 pounds. The 21-year-old from Weddington, North Carolina, was given a production score of 66, and an 85 in athleticism for a total score of 75. At Clemon’s Pro Day, Shipley ran a 4.44 in the 40-yard dash.

In 2023, Shipley had 167 carries for 827 yards, five touchdowns, 31 catches for 244 yards, two touchdowns, and seven kick returns for 147 yards (28.6 AVG/R) in 12 games for the Tigers.

He was named Team Captain and became the ninth member of the Clemson program all-time to earn AFCA Good Works Team honors, joining Robert Carswell (1999), Nick Eason (2000), Xavier Dye (2009), Deshaun Watson (2016), Sean Pollard (2018), Dabo Swinney (2019), Trevor Lawrence (2020) and Darien Rencher (2021).

In 2022, Shipley had 210 carries for 1,182 yards, 15 touchdowns, 38 catches for 242 yards, and 13 kick returns for 270 yards (24.9 AVG/R) in 14 games. He was named First Team All-ACC and First Team All-American.

Shipley became the first player in ACC history to earn first-team all-conference honors at three different positions, collecting first-team honors in the running back, all-purpose, and specialist categories. He was a finalist for the Paul Hornung Award, given annually to the nation’s most versatile player.

Shipley played three seasons at Clemson (2021-23) with 526 carries for 2,747 yards, 31 touchdowns, 85 catches for 602 yards, two touchdowns, completed one pass for two yards, one touchdown, and 34 kick returns for 646 yards (26.6 AVG/R) in 36 games for the Tigers.
