The Arlington Renegades signed offensive lineman Jake Stetz and linebacker Tuzar Skipper on Friday.

Jake Stetz is six foot two and weighs 311 pounds. The 25-year-old from San Marcos, California, made six starts for the Arlington Renegades in 2023 helping them win the XFL Championship over the D.C. Defenders. The Renegades drafted Stetz in the seventh round (50th pick) in Phase 4 of the 2023 XFL Draft.

Collegiately, Stetz played five seasons at Boise State (2017-21) playing 43 games for the Broncos. In 2019, he was part of an offensive line that opened holes for running back George Holani, who extended Boise State’s streak of seasons with a 1,000-yard rusher to 11. He was a two-time Second Team All-Mountain West Conference.

Tuzar Skipper is six foot three and weighs 246 pounds. The 28-year-old from Norwich, Connecticut, made 20 tackles (14 solo, 6 assists) and six sacks in ten games for the Seattle Sea Dragons (XFL) in 2023. The Sea Dragons drafted Skipper in the tenth round (79th pick) in Phase 3 of the 2023 XFL Draft.

Before Seattle, Skipper signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers as an undrafted free agent in 2019. He also spent time with the New York Giants, Pittsburgh Steelers, Tennessee Titans, and Atlanta Falcons 8 tackles (5 solo, 3 assists), one quarterback hit, half a sack, and one fumble recovery in ten NFL regular season games.

Collegiately, Skipper played two seasons at Monroe College (2014-15) with 64 tackles (46 solo, 18 assists), 20.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one blocked punt, and four kickoff returns for 213 yards in 13 games for the Mustangs. He was a two-time All-Conference.

Then, Skipper transferred to Toledo (2016-18) with 86 tackles (44 solo, 42 assists), 13 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one blocked punt in 28 games for the Rockets. He was named Third Team All-MAC in 2018.
